Born in London in 1986 Mark Walsh began his stage career at the age of eight and has become a top variety
artist and actor. With a comedy act of songs and stand up Mark is one of the finest solo performers around today. His one
man show has also proved a sell out success.
He has appeared in many of this country’s theatres and worked abroad all over the World on cruise ships. His
first stage appearances were with Danny La Rue and Roy Walker.
It was a great pleasure that on the 11th october 2009 Mark Walsh was asked to appear in a tribute
show to Danny La Rue at the World Famous London Palladium alongside stars including Roy Hudd, Ronnie Corbett and Jim
Davidson.
He has made countless radio broadcasts and appeared on TV for the BBC. His latest TV appearance being
on Donny Osmond’s BBC show ‘Identity’. He made his first appearance on TV as an actor in the Channel
4 soap Hollyoaks when he was 16.
Mark recorded his first CD of comedy songs in 2004 and in 2006 recorded a CD devoted to solo instrumental
music on the Ukulele. In 2008 he released a DVD of one of his live performances.
In
2007 Mark was nominated as one of the top 10 variety artists from around the world by the ‘Stage’ international
show business newspaper and through his unique musical ability has been credited as the finest Ukulele performer in the World
today.
